Carbon Excellence Country Coordinator (Kinshasa)

About the role

The Carbon Excellence Country Coordinator ensures the integrity, performance, and verification readiness of BURN’s biomass carbon projects in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The role combines data‑driven monitoring, risk management, and cross‑functional collaboration to safeguard carbon issuance and promote sustained stove usage.

Key responsibilities

• Own carbon performance across biomass carbon projects, tracking metrics such as customer reachability, stove‑to‑customer match accuracy, verified usage and sustained adoption.
• Identify early‑warning signals and provide structured performance and risk reporting to leadership.
• Ensure distribution follows customer eligibility criteria aligned with carbon methodology requirements and monitor distribution quality metrics.
• Correct deviations in targeting or onboarding to support long‑term carbon performance.
• Partner with Customer Experience, Commercial and Product teams to improve customer satisfaction, product‑market fit and sustained usage.
• Act as the voice of the customer, translating field insights into actionable improvements.
• Support implementation of digital monitoring tools and validate data for completeness, consistency and traceability.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and risk‑management abilities to detect early‑warning signals and report performance.
• Experience ensuring compliance with carbon methodology requirements and distribution quality standards.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams to improve customer experience and project outcomes.
