Coordinator – Technical & Capital Materials

About the role

The Kibali Gold Mine team is looking for a Coordinator to manage technical and capital project materials, ensuring the right equipment and supplies are available to support mining operations and expansion projects.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, source, and monitor material requirements from project initiation through completion.
• Coordinate procurement, delivery, and verification of equipment, spare parts, and project materials.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels, conduct stock reconciliations, and manage master data in SAP or other ERP systems.
• Work with engineering, maintenance, projects, procurement, and warehouse teams to align material needs.
• Support CAPEX projects by providing timely material availability and contributing to budgets and cost control.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, logistics, procurement or related field.
• 5‑8 years of experience in supply chain, materials management or logistics, preferably in mining or heavy‑industrial environments.
• Proven experience handling technical materials, spare parts, and critical equipment inventories.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and coordinate multiple stakeholders.

Required skills

• SAP (or similar ERP) for material master data management.
• Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access.
