Digital Impact Associate – 6‑month contract (Bunia, Beni, Butembo)

About the role

The Digital Impact Associate supports UNICEF’s information and communication technology (ICT) environment across Bunia, Beni and Butembo. This six‑month temporary assignment involves both routine administrative tasks and specialized technical work to ensure reliable digital services for staff and beneficiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Administer laptops, connectivity and basic ICT infrastructure.
• Install, configure and maintain ICT system components.
• Provide user orientation and first‑line support for hardware and software issues.
• Manage network and telecoms infrastructure, including troubleshooting and documentation.
• Support cybersecurity measures and protect digital assets.
• Maintain technical and user documentation and act as focal point for user requests.

Required profile

• Secondary education (or equivalent) in a related field.
• Minimum six years of practical experience in information technology.
• Proven ability to apply systematic troubleshooting methods.
