About the role
The Executive Head of Treasury and Funding will lead the organisation’s treasury function, shaping liquidity, funding, risk management and banking strategies to ensure financial stability and support growth objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Define and execute short‑, medium‑ and long‑term liquidity strategies across the group, overseeing cash forecasting, stress testing and contingency planning.
- Structure, negotiate and manage overdraft facilities, term loans, revolving credit lines and inter‑company funding to optimise cost of funding and interest‑rate exposure.
- Manage foreign‑exchange, interest‑rate and counter‑party risk, implement hedging and natural offset strategies, and provide executive reporting on risk exposure.
- Oversee trust governance, reconciliation controls and regulatory reporting to the Central Bank, ensuring compliance and fraud prevention.
- Lead strategic banking partnerships, manage relationships with regulators, auditors and tax authorities, and represent treasury at executive committees and board meetings.
Required profile
- Advanced treasury strategy and funding structuring expertise.
- Strong financial modelling and cash‑flow forecasting capability.
- Executive‑level negotiation and stakeholder‑management experience.
- Proven ability in risk assessment, internal‑control design and decision‑making under uncertainty.
- High analytical acumen with a deep understanding of central‑bank regulations and local financial‑market constraints.
