Finance & Administration Officer – Kisantu, DRC

About the role

The Finance and Administration Officer will support the pilot implementation of Perennial Malaria Chemoprevention in Kisantu, Kongo Central, DRC. Working under the Senior PADM in Kinshasa, the officer will ensure sound financial management and administrative coordination for this GiveWell‑funded project.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project budgets aligned with the workplan, collaborating with the Project Manager and Study Lead.
• Monitor monthly expenses and labor reports, flagging unexpected charges and updating the budget as needed.
• Prepare quarterly cash‑flow projections and support the quarterly cash request process.
• Oversee financial transaction documentation (RATs, TERs, WARs, WERs) to ensure completeness, accuracy and compliance with PATH policies.
• Coordinate with the logistics officer, financial associate, data manager, provincial coordinator and research agents to guarantee timely delivery of project activities.
• Ensure all financial requests follow established PATH procedures and communicate any variances to senior management.

Required profile

• Background or strong interest in global health and nonprofit finance.
• Highly motivated, detail‑oriented and able to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet strict deadlines.
