About the role
The Front Desk Service Agent (Guest Service Agent) is the first point of contact for Hilton guests, delivering a warm welcome and seamless registration experience. You will manage check‑in and check‑out processes, address guest inquiries, and promote Hilton’s loyalty programs while ensuring a memorable stay.
Key responsibilities
- Complete guest registration using Hilton’s computer system, verifying guest details, room rates, and preferences.
- Assign rooms, code electronic keys, and provide written confirmations of room numbers and rates.
- Promote Hilton marketing programs such as Hilton Honors and inform guests about hotel amenities, events, and VIP services.
- Handle check‑out payments, process various forms of payment, and convert foreign currency at posted rates.
- Greet guests promptly with a friendly demeanor, answer phone and email inquiries, and relay special requests to appropriate team members.
- Retrieve and deliver mail, packages, and other guest items as needed.
- Record and resolve guest complaints, conducting research to find effective solutions.
Required profile
- Excellent communication skills with a clear, pleasant speaking voice.
- Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling reservations and payments.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other hotel departments.
