Head of Warehouses Operations

About the role

The Head of Warehouses Operations will lead and optimise all warehouse activities across multiple sites in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Reporting to the Logistics Director, this senior position ensures safety, efficiency and continuous improvement while coordinating closely with production, logistics and sales teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, develop and manage warehouse managers and their teams across all locations.
• Oversee daily operations including receiving, inventory management, order fulfilment and dispatch.
• Implement and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to boost productivity and reduce errors.
• Ensure accurate inventory control, minimise discrepancies and run cycle‑counting programmes.
• Supervise the implementation and use of Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• Define KPIs, track performance and prepare reports for senior management.
• Collaborate with production, logistics and sales to align warehouse output with demand.
• Coordinate with third‑party logistics providers when required.

Required profile

• Fluent in French and English (both languages required).
• Proven experience leading warehouse teams across multiple sites.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, safety standards and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
• Experience preparing and presenting operational reports to senior leadership.

• Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementation and usage.
