Investment Manager – Chad

About the role

Inkomoko is seeking an Investment Manager to lead loan portfolio and credit risk activities for its entrepreneur clients in Chad. The role involves reviewing loan applications, monitoring portfolio performance, and ensuring strong borrower relationships to support the organization’s mission of fostering inclusive economic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Review and approve loan proposals within delegated authority, ensuring loan targets are achieved while maintaining portfolio health.
• Monitor loan performance and quality, conducting regular credit reviews and assessments.
• Identify, mitigate and manage major credit risks, ensuring compliance with lending policies and regulatory requirements.
• Track delinquent accounts, implement recovery strategies, and report on portfolio status.
• Provide excellent customer service through daily communication, site visits, and coordination with the Business Growth Services team.
• Maintain accurate borrower information and communicate updates to key stakeholders.
• Participate actively in portfolio review meetings and collaborate with investment and growth teams.

Required profile

• Qualified Investment Manager with experience in loan portfolio and credit risk management.
• Strong understanding of micro‑finance lending practices and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
