Raising Concerns Officer

About the role

The Raising Concerns Officer will lead independent investigations into allegations of misconduct, fraud or non‑compliance within Mutanda Mining. Reporting to the Raising Concerns Lead, the officer ensures investigations are thorough, objective and aligned with Glencore’s Raising Concerns Programme and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, conduct and document investigations, including evidence collection, interviews and analysis.
• Prepare detailed, evidence‑based investigation reports with findings and practical recommendations.
• Identify control weaknesses, fraud indicators and non‑compliant behaviours.
• Collaborate with Legal, Security and Human Resources throughout the investigative process.
• Maintain proper handling, preservation and documentation of evidence and sensitive information.
• Support the strengthening of internal controls and compliance processes.
• Observe Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) requirements and use appropriate PPE when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Criminology, Internal Audit, Forensic Investigation or a related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in a corporate, legal or compliance investigative role.
• High level of integrity, impartiality and confidentiality.
• Strong analytical thinking, critical judgment and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluency in French and functional English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook).
• Ability to work with databases for evidence management.
