Senior Migration Health Physician

About the role

Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission and the direct supervision of the Migration Health Programme Coordinator, the Senior Migration Health Physician will manage and coordinate the medical activities of the AVR programme in Kinshasa, ensuring high‑quality health assessments and services for migrants.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and supervise medical examinations, referrals, imaging, laboratory testing, vaccinations and TB management.
• Handle pre‑departure procedures, medical movements, documentation, certification and information transmission.
• Conduct sensitisation sessions and ensure patient safety and infection prevention and control.

Required profile

• University degree in Medicine (internal medicine, paediatrics, emergency medicine, family medicine, obstetrics & gynaecology) with at least seven years of relevant experience, including three years in a managerial role.
• Professional experience in multidisciplinary hospital settings or international clinics, migration health assessments, programme management and partnership building with government and health institutions.
