Associate Manager Sales – Lubumbashi

About the role

BIC World is looking for an Associate Manager Sales to lead the development of BIC sales in the Lubumbashi region and surrounding areas of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The role focuses on partnering with local distributors, managing the BIC sales force, and delivering secondary sales objectives aligned with BIC’s growth strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales plans for the Lubumbashi region in line with BIC objectives.
• Collaborate with local distributors to implement route‑to‑market (RTM) strategies and achieve sales force automation (SFA) metrics.
• Manage the dedicated BIC sales team, ensuring coverage, strike‑rate, and basket size targets are met.
• Produce accurate secondary sales reports and optimise sales route plans with the Business Analyst.
• Train and support distributors and sales staff on product knowledge and field visits.
• Maintain forecast accuracy through a 3+3 order processing system (3 months firm orders, 3 months forecast).
• Lead distributor relationships, oversee key accounts, and ensure timely collection of receivables.
• Monitor market trends, conduct competitive analysis, and support anti‑counterfeiting initiatives.
