Chargé de programme, changement social et comportemental (CSC)

About the role

The Centre for Communication Programs at Johns Hopkins University is seeking a Program Officer to lead social and behavioral change (CSC) activities within the USAID-funded Tudienzele project in Kasaï, DRC. The role focuses on promoting healthier nutrition, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) practices among vulnerable families.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement CSC communication strategies aligned with project objectives.
• Produce technical materials, protocols and guidance documents for CSC interventions.
• Plan, monitor and evaluate CSC activities, ensuring quality and adherence to sector standards.
• Collaborate with the provincial coordinator and multidisciplinary project team.
• Support integration of CSC components with nutrition, gender, youth and social inclusion themes.

Required profile

• Strong background in social and behavioral change programming.
• Knowledge of international standards and best practices in health communication.
• Excellent technical writing skills for developing CSC materials.
• Ability to translate strategic vision into actionable work plans.
