Contract Analyst – Contract Management (Kinshasa)

About the role

The United Nations Development Programme (PNUD) is seeking a Contract Analyst to support the implementation of the PDL‑145T program in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Working under the Operations Advisor and closely with the national legal advisor, the analyst will manage all contractual aspects of this large‑scale development initiative.

Key responsibilities

• Identify the most appropriate contracting modality for each procurement action.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts in accordance with UNDP and DRC legal frameworks.
• Monitor contract performance, ensure compliance with terms, and manage amendments.
• Maintain accurate contract records and provide regular reporting to project management.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including government officials and implementing partners.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Law or equivalent (minimum requirement).
• At least 2 years of relevant experience with a university degree, or 5 years with secondary education.
• Fluency in French; proficiency in a national language of the DRC is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural environment and adhere to UNDP policies.
