Digital Lead – Property & Buildings

About the role

WSP is seeking an experienced Property & Buildings Digital Lead to drive digital transformation across its African business. You will provide strategic leadership for digital innovation, technology adoption, and service delivery, working closely with business leaders, technical specialists and global digital teams.

Key responsibilities

• Champion and implement the Property & Buildings digital strategy across Africa, developing annual digital business line plans aligned with regional and global priorities.
• Drive governance, prioritisation and performance management of digital initiatives, identifying and managing related risks.
• Build trusted advisor relationships with key clients, lead discovery workshops and develop repeatable digital offerings and methodologies.
• Promote adoption of BIM, digital twins, GIS, location intelligence, automation and advanced data solutions to improve project delivery consistency and quality.
• Support implementation and scaling of digital platforms, tools and delivery methodologies across multidisciplinary teams.

Required profile

• Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and the ability to influence stakeholders in a complex, multidisciplinary environment.
• Proven experience leading digital transformation initiatives within the built environment or related sectors.
• Excellent communication and client‑facing skills, with a track record of delivering measurable value.
