Francophone Africa Expansion Lead

About the role

The Francophone Africa Expansion Lead will drive strategic expansion of Ubongo’s educational content across Francophone African markets, identifying growth opportunities and building distribution partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement country‑specific expansion strategies aligned with Ubongo’s 5‑year growth plan.
• Identify, negotiate and manage partnerships with broadcasters, digital platforms, NGOs, government entities and community organisations.
• Collaborate with marketing to create regional campaigns that increase brand awareness and audience uptake.
• Coordinate on‑ground activities such as in‑school projects and represent Ubongo at industry events.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in media, broadcasting sales, marketing or business development.
• Strong knowledge of the media and education ecosystem in Francophone Africa.
• Excellent communication skills in English and the major language(s) of the target countries.
• Willingness to travel extensively in remote areas and work independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Suite and cloud storage tools.
• Familiarity with remote‑working platforms such as Slack and Asana.
