Reporting Officer – USAID Mission (DRC)

About the role

SoCha, LLC is seeking a Reporting Officer to support USAID’s Mission Strategic Support Program in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The role focuses on producing high‑quality reports for Collaboration, Learning and Adapting (CLA) events, ensuring that deliverables meet USAID branding and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Take comprehensive notes in English and/or French during CLA events and workshops.
• Synthesize key take‑aways, action plans, and technical content into clear, concise reports.
• Design and edit reports using infographics and visual elements to enhance readability.
• Translate event materials between English and French at a professional level.
• Transcribe verbal presentations and audio recordings.
• Incorporate USAID feedback, perform final consolidation, formatting, and ensure version control in shared drives.
• Maintain confidentiality and meet all deadlines.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the CLA Advisor, DCOP, or COP.

Required profile

• Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and French.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret technical workshop material.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality documentation.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deliverables.
