Rotational Senior Associate/Manager – DRC (Fixed‑term)

About the role

One Acre Fund is seeking dynamic professionals to lead high‑impact, cross‑functional projects in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The role rotates across key departments for 6–12 months, offering fast‑track progression to a permanent leadership position.

Key responsibilities

• Lead or support strategic initiatives, coordinating across senior leadership, field operations, R&D, donor relations and people operations.
• Conduct rapid qualitative and quantitative research to inform programme strategy, operational improvements and investment decisions.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and develop tools, workflows and systems that improve collaboration and data use.
• Coordinate cross‑functional inputs for proposals, donor reports and partnership documents, and liaise with DRC government counterparts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, International Development, Agriculture, Social Sciences, Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in project management, strategy, research, programme operations or consulting; senior‑level experience expected for manager track.
• Understanding of programme implementation and field realities in rural or low‑resource contexts, preferably in agriculture or development.
• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking abilities with a track record of navigating complex, ambiguous environments.
• Professional fluency in English; basic French or Lingala is an advantage.
