Volunteer Digital Transformation & Data Management Support

About the role

Conserve Congo is seeking volunteers to strengthen its digital transformation, data management and technology support. This remote, unpaid position will help a locally‑led conservation organization in the Democratic Republic of Congo improve its systems, communications and decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Develop or adapt digital tools and software solutions that address specific conservation challenges.
• Analyze and visualise data to support monitoring, evaluation and reporting.
• Create graphic assets and visual storytelling materials for outreach and fundraising.
• Assist with the design of training materials, organizational workflows and digital platforms.
• Collaborate with the Conserve Congo team to define deliverables and ensure timely completion.

Required profile

• Professional experience or strong academic background in technology, data analysis, design or related fields.
• Ability to work independently, communicate clearly in English and meet weekly time commitments (5‑10 hours).
• Passion for conservation and interest in supporting African‑led environmental initiatives.
