Construction Project Manager

About the role

The incumbent is accountable for the development and construction of assigned projects, which may include new meetinghouses, seminaries, welfare projects, and larger research and development initiatives. The role requires meeting performance standards related to cost, quality, and timeliness.

Key responsibilities

• Manage service providers such as architects, consultants, and contractors to achieve performance standards.
• Analyze project information continuously to improve cost, quality, and schedule outcomes.
• Support operations and maintenance functions by providing construction expertise as needed.
• Ensure timely and cost‑effective acquisition of real‑estate properties.
• Provide project management support to stake presidents and solve problems within established policy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s (or equivalent) degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture.
• Three to five years of construction‑field experience, including project management, supervision, or ownership roles.
• Proven leadership, negotiation, and public‑relations abilities with ecclesiastical leaders, architects, engineers, contractors, and government officials.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and people effectively.
