Customer Service Representative

About the role

Sandvik Mining and Construction RDC is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support its over‑the‑counter parts sales and technical assistance for the mining equipment portfolio. The role is based in Lubumbashi and involves direct interaction with customers, internal planners and the sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with inventory planners to secure replenishment stock for customers.
• Provide customer support for Sandvik OTC parts sales, handling technical inquiries and order processing.
• Respond to incoming calls and emails professionally and promptly.
• Receive, process and expedite parts orders while ensuring compliance with sales guidelines.
• Handle customer complaints, liaise with management and take appropriate corrective actions.
• Educate customers on available products and services.
• Identify potential customer needs and business development opportunities.
• Manage import procedures related to parts orders.

Required profile

• Congolese citizenship.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Solid experience in a similar customer‑service or industrial role, preferably within mining or equipment sectors.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and French.
• Strong communication skills, flexibility and adaptability.
• Computer literacy.
