Field Support Associate

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) seeks a Field Support Associate to assist with movement operations in the field. Working under the Senior Protection Coordinator and the National Operations Officer, the associate will support the safe and orderly travel of migrants and refugees across various locations such as airports, transit centres, camps and sub‑offices.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out field activities in assigned areas, including airports, transit centres, third‑party facilities, camps or sub‑offices.
• Guide and coordinate teams of Operations Clerks and Operations Assistants to ensure timely completion of field support tasks.
• Collaborate with the National Operations Officer to plan and monitor movement operations.
• Maintain accurate records of travel arrangements, documentation and logistical support.
• Ensure compliance with IOM policies, framework agreements and partner requirements.

Required profile

• Experience in humanitarian or migration‑related field operations.
• Ability to work in dynamic, multi‑cultural environments and coordinate diverse teams.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good understanding of international travel logistics and documentation processes.
