Freelance Operations Specialist – Audit, Finance, Compliance

About the role

Seefar is building a remote roster of freelance professionals to support its operations team. The roster covers audit, finance, systems design, donor compliance and entity governance across its global projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist audit leads and project managers in preparing and executing audits (Assistant – Audit).
• Support proper management of project and entity finances (Assistant – Finance).
• Lead internal or external audit processes (Associate – Audit).
• Design templates, systems and automations to meet complex operational needs (Specialist – Operations Systems).
• Provide specialist advice on managing grants from EU, Member States and the UK (Specialist – Donor Compliance).
• Advise on governance of non‑profit entities in Belgium and Sweden and for‑profit entities in Ireland and Hong Kong (Specialist – Entity Governance).

Required profile

• Freelancers with relevant experience (minimum 2 years for assistants, 5 years for associates, 8 years for specialists).
• Willingness to undergo reference checks and basic vetting.
• Not engaged in full‑time employment and able to operate as an independent contractor.
