About the role

Key responsibilities

• Lead independent research projects aligned with the department’s strategic themes.
• Develop and supervise PhD students and post‑doctoral researchers.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Computer Science and Software Engineering.
• Publish high‑impact scientific papers and secure external research funding.
• Collaborate with industry partners and interdisciplinary research groups.

Required profile

• PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Strong publication record in algorithmics, AI, embedded or networked systems.
• Demonstrated ability to obtain research funding.
• Excellent communication and teaching skills.
