Senior Supervisor - Compliance Investigation

About the role

The Senior Supervisor – Compliance Investigation will lead and coordinate investigations into fraud, theft, misconduct, corruption and other compliance incidents for Kamoto Copper Company. Reporting to the Investigations Manager, the incumbent ensures investigations are independent, objective, confidential and aligned with KCC policies, Congolese law and recognised investigative standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and assign investigations covering fraud, theft, misconduct, corruption, policy breaches and related incidents.
• Evaluate incoming cases, allocate resources, monitor progress and ensure timely closure.
• Maintain rigorous evidence‑handling procedures, including collection, preservation, analysis and documentation.
• Review witness statements, records and investigation reports for accuracy, completeness and legal compliance.
• Mentor and guide junior investigators, ensuring high‑quality investigative output.
• Coordinate traffic‑incident investigations involving KCC vehicles, employees or contractors and conduct root‑cause analyses.
• Collaborate with Legal, HR, Security, Compliance and other functions to ensure adherence to Congolese regulations and internal policies.
• Liaise with judicial, administrative and other competent authorities when required.

Required profile

• Significant experience leading compliance or internal investigations, preferably in a mining or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of Congolese law, regulatory requirements and internal policy frameworks.
• Proven ability to manage complex, high‑risk cases and deliver clear, evidence‑based recommendations.
• Excellent analytical, report‑writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating with cross‑functional teams and external authorities.
