About the role
The Administrative Manager will lead the company’s administrative and compliance functions across all branches in the Democratic Republic of Congo. You will ensure alignment with local labour law, tax regulations, and regulatory requirements while acting as the primary liaison with government agencies.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee statutory filings and employer compliance obligations with DRC bodies such as INPP, INPS/CNAM, and DGI, including payroll tax, professional tax, and social security contributions.
- Manage tax obligations (IPR, TVA, IS) and coordinate acquisition and renewal of business licences, operating permits, and expatriate work permits.
- Serve as the main point of contact for regulatory agencies, coordinate inspections, audits, and official correspondence, and resolve compliance issues.
- Ensure HR policies, employment contracts, and employee processes comply with the DRC Labour Code, providing guidance on recruitment, contracts, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
- Oversee office administration, vendor management, and facility operations across branches, supporting onboarding, off‑boarding, and employee record maintenance.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Law or a related field; HR or compliance certification is a plus.
- 3–5 years of experience in administration, HR or compliance within the DRC or Francophone Africa.
- Strong knowledge of the DRC tax system and filing procedures with DGI.
- Proven experience interacting with DRC government authorities for permits, licences and inspections.
- Solid understanding of the DRC Labour Code and social security frameworks (INPS/CNAM, INPP).
- Fluency in English and French.
