Budget Analyst – World Vision DRC

About the role

The Budget Analyst will support comprehensive budgeting and financial management processes at World Vision's National Office in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. You will ensure budgets align with strategic priorities, donor requirements, and internal cost‑allocation methodologies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, consolidate and upload support cost, program and grant budgets into financial systems.
• Validate and manage Labor Distribution Reports to allocate staff costs accurately.
• Monitor PBAS commitments, reconcile data across systems and support donor reporting.
• Maintain and document cost allocation methodologies, track cost recovery performance and SCR ratios.
• Assist in budget reviews, narrative preparation and financial analysis for management.

Required profile

• First degree in Accounting or Finance; ACCA or CIMA qualification is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of finance experience in an NGO environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and World Vision Financial Policies & Procedures (FPP).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
