Expeditor – Procurement & Logistics

About the role

The Expeditor will support the Procurement department by tracking and accelerating purchase orders from supplier confirmation through to receipt of the Goods Received Voucher (GRV). This role ensures timely and accurate delivery of materials to end‑users at the Kamoa Copper Mine.

Key responsibilities

• Follow up on confirmed purchases with suppliers to ensure on‑time delivery.
• Coordinate inbound logistics and warehouse receipt of goods.
• Update supplier performance metrics in the procurement database.
• Build and maintain working relationships across functional teams.
• Monitor costs and identify opportunities for cost efficiencies.
• Support transformation initiatives and integrate HSEQ requirements into daily processes.
• Maintain accurate reporting and documentation for all expediting activities.

Required profile

• Degree in Supply Chain Management or relevant certification (CSCP, CPIM, CFPIM).
• Minimum 5 years of expediting experience in a mining environment.
• Fluent business English; French, Swahili or Mandarin are a plus.
• Strong risk‑management, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, cultural sensitivity, and resilience under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using ERP systems, specifically JDE and Hubble.
• Basic knowledge of import/export legislation and BV inspections.
