Premium Cash Officer

About the role

Wave is building Africa’s first cashless continent and needs a diligent professional to manage cash operations at its premium agency in Kinshasa. As a Premium Cash Officer you will be the backbone of daily liquidity, ensuring cash flows are accurate, secure, and aligned with the company’s mission.

Key responsibilities

• Manage cash inflows and outflows between the Safe and PCA accounts.
• Conduct end‑of‑day bill counting and produce daily reconciliation statements.
• Record all cash‑management transactions in the treasury system.
• Request and allocate sufficient funds to maintain balance with agents and clients.
• Oversee cash‑in‑transit operations and report any discrepancies.
• Identify and report counterfeit bills to management.
• Maintain office security, furniture, and material usage.
• Escalate relevant feedback that may affect agency activity.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in cash management, reconciliation, liquidity or cash handling.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in French.
• Previous front‑office customer service or banking experience.
• High attention to detail, vigilance and integrity.
