Production Engineer – Remote (Telecom OSS/BSS)

About the role

As a Production Engineer at Telarix you will own the resolution of complex support tickets that involve deep technical expertise in SQL Server, cloud infrastructure and system upgrades. You will work remotely with a flexible schedule, supporting a 24/7 rotation when required to meet service level agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, monitor and maintain SQL Server databases, ensuring high availability, security and performance.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as index rebuilding, log management and health monitoring.
• Plan, test and execute application patches, system upgrades and releases with minimal downtime.
• Lead data migrations and refreshes between environments, handling backup, recovery and disaster‑recovery testing.
• Set up monitoring alerts, automate repetitive tasks and propose process improvements.
• Collaborate with end users, R&D and customer teams to provide status updates and resolve issues.
• Document resolutions, recurring problems and best‑practice procedures.

Required profile

• Strong experience with SQL Server administration and performance tuning.
• Hands‑on knowledge of AWS cloud services.
• Proven ability to manage patches, upgrades and data migrations.
• Comfortable working in a remote, flexible environment and participating in on‑call rotations.
