About the role
The Head of Business Sales (B2B) will lead Vodacom DRC’s enterprise sales and presales organisation, driving revenue growth across mobile, fixed and other B2B services. Reporting to senior leadership, the role combines strategic account management, channel development and profitability ownership.
Key responsibilities
- Define and execute Sales & Prospect‑to‑Order strategies to position Vodacom DRC as the leading B2B telecom provider.
- Develop, maintain and lead tailored account plans for acquisition and retention across all B2B segments.
- Manage a high‑performing sales team, ensuring monthly, quarterly and yearly revenue targets are met.
- Lead complex deal structuring, contract negotiation, strategic account planning and bid/RFP governance.
- Analyse forecasts and pipeline data to prioritize actions and support successful deal closure.
- Maintain accurate, timely updates of individual and team KPIs for all segments.
- Collaborate with Sales Senior Managers and Sales Managers to ensure clear execution of enterprise account strategies.
- Drive adoption of new products and services across the sales organisation.
Required profile
- Proven senior leadership experience in B2B telecom sales.
- Strong customer‑centric mindset with analytical and market knowledge.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment.

- CRM systems proficiency
