Senior Officer, Warehousing X2

About the role

The Senior Officer, Warehousing X2 will lead the warehouse function supporting the Kamoa Copper Mine operations. This position ensures safe receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials, equipment and consumables while driving cost‑efficient performance.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate a world‑class warehouse function and deliver on the operating plan, including inventory management.
• Maintain quality standards for warehouse processes, goods and products.
• Build and sustain stakeholder relationships across teams and functional lines.
• Supervise, monitor and develop direct reports to achieve performance targets.
• Monitor costs against approved budgets, seeking efficiencies and waste reduction.
• Support transformation initiatives and integrate HSEQ requirements into daily work.
• Ensure accurate reporting, governance and quality compliance.

Required profile

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of warehouse management experience, preferably in a large‑scale operation.
• At least 6 years of experience in a mining environment.
• Business‑level proficiency in English; French, Swahili or Mandarin are advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, finance literacy, storage management, record‑keeping, stock control and materials used in copper mining.
