About the role
The Budget and Financial Compliance Officer will manage, oversee and monitor the budgetary activities of the IOM Country Office in Kinshasa. The role ensures that all financial operations comply with IOM rules, regulations and donor‑specific requirements, working closely with headquarters and the Regional Office in Nairobi.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and monitor the Country Office’s budgetary processes.
- Ensure compliance with IOM financial rules and donor requirements.
- Coordinate budgetary matters with IOM Headquarters and the Regional Office in Nairobi.
- Prepare and submit financial reports in line with internal and external guidelines.
- Identify and address any discrepancies or non‑compliance issues.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Public Administration or a related field.
