Cashier (Bilingual French/English)

About the role

We are seeking a bilingual French‑English Cashier to manage our point‑of‑sale operations. The successful candidate will ensure accurate processing of payments, maintain cash register records and support internal financial controls.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers courteously and process payments (cash, card, or other methods).
• Accurately record each transaction and verify the amounts collected and change given.
• Perform daily cash register closings and keep the register up to date.
• Handle authorized disbursements in line with internal procedures.
• Verify, retain and file supporting documents such as invoices, vouchers and receipts.
• Report any cash discrepancies or variances to management promptly.
• Adhere to security, confidentiality and internal control policies.
• Maintain an organized and secure workstation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Bac+2/3) or equivalent in accounting, finance or a related field.
• At least three years of experience in cash handling or point‑of‑sale environments.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and integrity.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, dashboards).
• Experience with SAP or a comparable ERP system.
