Corporate Audit Manager

About the role

FINCA Impact Finance is seeking a Corporate Audit Manager to lead internal audit activities across its subsidiary and network. The role ensures audit plans are executed, provides consulting to management, and upholds the highest professional and ethical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor risk‑based audit plans aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives.
• Oversee execution of internal audit assignments, including performance, operational, financial, IT and compliance audits.
• Coordinate audit activities with the Global Audit Director and other network audit managers.
• Provide advisory services and recommendations to subsidiary management based on audit findings.
• Supervise and mentor internal audit staff, ensuring adherence to IIA Global Internal Audit Standards.
• Anticipate planning issues, resolve conflicts, and manage ad‑hoc audit requests.

Required profile

• Proven experience in internal auditing within financial services or micro‑finance institutions.
• Strong understanding of risk management, control frameworks and governance processes.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment and communicate findings clearly.
• Commitment to transparency, accountability and inclusive banking values.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IIA International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing.
• Expertise in conducting financial, operational, IT and compliance audits.
• Proficiency in audit planning, risk assessment and report writing.
