Inventory Cataloguer Officer

About the role

The Inventory Cataloguer Officer will manage the Item Master Data for Kamoa Copper Mine, ensuring that inventory information is complete, accurate, and readily accessible. This role supports the mining operation’s supply chain and warehousing functions by maintaining consistent classification standards.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the Item Master Data across ERP systems.
• Monitor financial metrics related to inventory costs and drive efficiencies.
• Resolve conflicts and address stakeholder concerns regarding inventory data.
• Support the organisation’s Skills Transfer agenda.
• Implement HSEQ plans and integrate safety standards into daily processes.
• Maintain and improve reporting procedures for the assigned area.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Supply Chain or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar inventory or master data role within the mining sector.
• Fluent business English; French and Swahili are highly advantageous.

Required skills

• Taxonomy for inventory codes.
• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Strong computer skills.
