Technical Project Manager – Perennial Malaria Chemoprevention

About the role

PATH is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead the pilot implementation of Perennial Malaria Chemoprevention (PMC) in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The role will support the GiveWell‑funded project, working closely with the Study Lead and a multidisciplinary technical team to ensure successful delivery of project activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage work plans and donor deliverables, tracking implementation milestones and approvals.
• Understand and apply research methods and objectives of the GiveWell‑PMC project.
• Coordinate team meetings, set agendas, and present strategic insights on risks and opportunities.
• Provide technical assistance to DPS/PNLP on stock management and transportation of Pyrimethamine/Sulfadoxine‑SP.
• Collaborate with supply‑chain focal points at provincial and health‑zone levels to ensure safe storage and timely distribution of drugs.
• Support provincial teams in commodity tracking, inventory management, and logistics analysis.

Required profile

• Background or strong interest in global health, preferably with experience in malaria or infectious disease programs.
• Highly motivated, hard‑working, and exceptionally organized.
• Proven ability to supervise and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including logistic officers and M&E staff.
• Experience working with government health ministries or national disease programs is a plus.
