About the role

Conserv Congo is seeking a remote volunteer to enhance its global visibility through strategic storytelling and digital communication. The role supports wildlife protection and community‑based conservation efforts in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a storytelling strategy that highlights biodiversity, community initiatives, and conservation successes.
• Create and manage social media content to expand audience reach.
• Produce video and documentary narratives that convey the impact of conservation work.
• Support brand positioning and communication materials for international audiences.
• Deliver clearly defined outputs aligned with Conserv Congo’s conservation objectives.

Required profile

• Experience as a communications strategist, journalist, documentary storyteller, or digital marketing specialist.
• Passion for wildlife protection and African‑led conservation.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, committing 5–10 hours per week.
