Accounts Manager

About the role

The Accounts Manager will lead day‑to‑day accounting activities for S&K Supermarche’s Kinshasa store. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures accurate financial reporting, supports budgeting and forecasting, and collaborates closely with store management and senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in compliance with local regulations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis for decision‑making.
• Reconcile bank and cash accounts and monitor cash flow.
• Coordinate with external auditors and ensure timely audit completion.
• Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Proven experience in retail or FMCG accounting, preferably.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable/receivable, cash management and basic tax compliance.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for cross‑functional teamwork.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
