Administration and Finance Analyst, Sustainable Energy 2 Program

About the role

The United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) is hiring an Administration and Finance Analyst for its Sustainable Energy 2 program in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The post supports the Energy Investment Program Manager in day-to-day operations, reporting and activities, so that the program is delivered efficiently against donor-committed timelines. It is open to internal and external applicants.

Key responsibilities

• Help standardize finance and accounting systems in line with UNDP and UNCDF procedures, and support annual work plans, budgets, budget revisions and procurement plans.
• Monitor project expenditure and cash flows against approved budgets, and support quarterly FACE reviews, cashbook and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, forecasts and expenditure reports, and consolidate investee financial reports for donors and UNCDF.
• Support procurement, including requests for quotations and contract management, and keep records of vendor performance.
• Oversee office operations, logistics and assets, assist with events, travel and records management, and liaise with partners and government counterparts.
• Facilitate internal and external audits and support risk management and compliance measures.
• Support data collection for companies during due diligence and provide administrative and financial input for program planning and reporting.
