Analyst – Financial Management (Kolwezi Cluster)

About the role

World Vision is seeking an Analyst – Financial Management for its Kolwezi Cluster in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The role provides comprehensive financial oversight and operational support across the cluster, ensuring resources are used efficiently, compliance is maintained, and reporting is accurate.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor burn rates, conduct variance analysis and produce detailed project and cluster‑level financial reports, including Field Financial Reports for internal and donor stakeholders.
• Lead budget coordination, align budgets with strategic priorities and integrate them into financial systems such as Horizon and IMPAQ.
• Oversee invoice processing, mobile‑money disbursements, asset management and reconciliation in partnership with finance and operations teams.
• Support field operations through regular engagement, payment processing and procurement review.
• Manage shared cost allocations, asset tracking and ensure compliance with cost recovery and Support Cost Reallocation (SCR) guidelines.

Required profile

• First degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) is an advantage.
• Minimum three years of relevant finance experience.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and communicate ideas clearly in writing and verbally.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software packages, especially Sun Systems, Vision XL and Vision Executive.
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and World Vision finance policies.
• Experience in grant and sponsorship accounting and preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Ability to perform complex financial analyses.
