A&R, Music Marketing & Artist Management Specialist

About the role

Amon Access Group is seeking a dynamic professional to combine A&R, music marketing and artist management functions. You will be the bridge between emerging African talent and the platform’s digital distribution, funding and promotional tools.

Key responsibilities

• Scout and evaluate talent across urban, gospel and contemporary African music genres.
• Onboard artists onto the Amon Access streaming platform and develop individualized career plans.
• Design and execute localized and digital music marketing campaigns, including social‑media strategies and release planning.
• Organise studio sessions, negotiate basic artist agreements and coordinate event appearances.
• Educate artists on Direct‑to‑Fan and Mobile Money monetisation models.
• Monitor regional streaming trends and implement creative strategies to maximise revenue and visibility.
• Maintain clear communication between artists, internal teams and external partners.

Required profile

• Proven experience or strong passion for talent scouting and artist development in African music markets.
• Deep understanding of digital promotional tactics, brand positioning and audience engagement tailored to African audiences.
• Ability to manage artist schedules, coordinate with studios/venues and handle basic contractual matters.
• Familiarity with independent digital distribution, streaming platforms and Mobile Money integration (D2F/fan support models).
• Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong organisational abilities and adaptability in a fast‑growth environment.
• Professional fluency in French and local languages (Lingala and/or Swahili); working proficiency in English is a plus.
