Area HR Generalist

About the role

The Area HR Generalist supports core HR functions for a designated region, providing senior‑level expertise and handling complex employee matters. Reporting to the Manager of Area HR Operations, the role works closely with workforce leaders, the local HR team, and corporate COEs.

Key responsibilities

• Administer HR policies, interpret guiding principles, and ensure compliance.
• Manage workforce‑relations disputes, reduction‑in‑force processes, and exit interview reporting.
• Lead belonging and diversity initiatives within the area.
• Oversee expatriate employee administration and local business‑technology roll‑outs.
• Conduct legal reviews of employment separations and support investigations.
• Perform operational risk analysis and ad‑hoc reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with at least 4 years of professional HR experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of HR operations and best practices.
• Ability to build relationships, consult with business leaders, and deliver excellent customer service.
• Strong analytical, communication, and change‑facilitation skills.
