Buyer – Procurement and Vendor Management

About the role

The Buyer will manage all purchasing activities within an assigned area, ensuring that goods and services are obtained at the best value while maintaining compliance with contractual and budgetary requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Source quotations, evaluate bids, and award work to approved vendors following established procedures.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms, budget limits, and approval thresholds.
• Coordinate with Facilities Management to verify work completion and quality before processing payments.
• Process vendor invoices and resolve any payment discrepancies.
• Maintain effective vendor communication and address operational or payment‑related concerns.
• Support vendor lifecycle management to guarantee timely service delivery and financial accountability.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in procurement, supply chain management, or a related business field.
• Professional certifications such as CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) or KISM are advantageous.
• Experience applying effective purchasing principles and contract negotiation.
• Ability to communicate in French; English proficiency is a plus.
