Consortium Coordinator

About the role

The Consortium Coordinator will lead the Medair‑led consortium of three INGO partners, overseeing coordination, implementation, reporting and operational oversight for emergency nutrition, health, WASH and food security projects in central and southern D.R. Congo.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for consortium partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the grant period.
• Monitor project progress, financial expenditure and forecasting, flagging concerns to the steering committee.
• Compile partner reports and produce accurate donor reporting on time.
• Maintain links between partner finance teams and Medair finance, ensuring smooth cash flow and compliance with audit requirements.
• Identify and resolve quality issues, support partners in liaising with authorities, and facilitate lessons‑learned workshops.
• Act as the main liaison with the BHA donor, raising concerns to senior Medair staff and safeguarding the organization’s reputation.
• Ensure all partners follow incident‑reporting protocols and have appropriate monitoring mechanisms.

Required profile

• Proven experience in coordinating multi‑partner humanitarian programmes.
• Strong understanding of grant management, donor reporting and financial oversight.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build collaborative relationships.
• Willingness to work in field conditions in Goma and travel to remote sites.
