Country Director – Global Health Supply Chain

About the role

Chemonics is seeking a senior Country Director to lead the USAID Global Health Supply Chain Technical Assistance Francophone Task Order in Kinshasa, DRC. The role oversees technical strategy, program performance, and stakeholder coordination across health supply systems.

Key responsibilities

• Directly supervise management‑level staff and oversee Francophone TO staff in the DRC.
• Implement annual work plans and budgets aligned with USAID, DRC Ministry of Health, and other stakeholder priorities.
• Coordinate reporting, performance reviews, and evidence‑based interventions.
• Maintain strong relationships with USAID, local governments, partners, and donors.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in health or management‑related discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in public health program management, pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, or supply chain management systems.
• Proven ability to manage complex USAID‑funded public health programs at a leadership level in the DRC.
• Fluency in French and strong professional proficiency in English.
