Data and Analytics Manager (Health/ISMT) – 6‑month contract

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a senior Data and Analytics Manager to lead the Data, Digital Health Information Systems, and Modeling pillar of the Ebola response in the Democratic Republic of Congo. This 6‑month temporary appointment will ensure reliable, real‑time data supports effective decision‑making for vulnerable children and communities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical and operational leadership for data management, digital health information systems, and epidemiological modeling.
• Strengthen national systems for Ebola data governance and management.
• Integrate and harmonise digital surveillance systems across health sectors.
• Guarantee data quality, strategic use, and production of real‑time dashboards.
• Develop advanced analyses and epidemiological models to inform response strategies.
• Support decision‑making at the Country Office (COUSP) and Ministry of Health.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in public health, epidemiology, data science, or a related field.
• Significant experience in health data management, digital health systems, and epidemiological modeling.
• Proven experience in emergency health responses, preferably Ebola.
• Ability to lead technical teams in complex, insecure environments.
• Strong understanding of health information system governance and data‑driven decision‑making.
