Digital Health Team Lead – Technical Assistance Platform

About the role

PATH is seeking a Digital Health Team Lead to coordinate the Technical Assistance Platform (TAP) in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The role will serve as the primary link between PATH, CDC, the Ministry of Health, and implementing partners to ensure effective deployment and scaling of electronic medical record (EMR) systems and related digital health infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate TAP implementation with CDC, ANICNS, PNLS, regional health authorities, partners, and facility stakeholders.
• Support planning, deployment, customization, testing, and optimization of EMR systems in targeted regions.
• Develop and maintain country workplans, timelines, activity trackers, and responsibility matrices.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
• Ensure data governance, privacy, security, and compliance with DRC regulations.
• Design and deliver training for health workers, IT staff, and regional teams.
• Prepare regular implementation updates and monthly progress reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience coordinating digital health projects at the country level.
• Strong understanding of EMR systems and health information workflows.
• Familiarity with data privacy, security, and disaster recovery standards.
• Ability to engage diverse stakeholders, including government, donors, and technical teams.
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
