Field Auditor

About the role

Wave is building a cashless Africa and needs a Field Auditor to ensure the integrity of its premium agency network. You will travel across the Democratic Republic of Congo, performing cash audits, risk assessments, and training staff to safeguard operations.

Key responsibilities

• Visit designated premium agencies regularly and conduct cash audits.
• Execute all controls outlined in the control plan and report any shortcomings.
• Update security and operational risk maps with information on threats and vulnerabilities.
• Train cashiers and agency staff on procedures and fraud awareness.
• Investigate operational incidents and conduct end‑of‑year cash inventories.
• Participate in risk analyses for new agency constructions and specific projects.
• Ensure agency staff comply with the code of conduct and management instructions.
• Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Fluency in French and good command of English.
• 2+ years of university‑level education in Finance or Accounting.
• Experience handling high cash volumes.
• Work authorization for the DRC.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Sheets.
