Indirect Sales Manager (Kinshasa)

About the role

The Indirect Sales Manager will lead Africell’s indirect sales channel in Kinshasa, overseeing a team of sales developers, distributors and dealers. The role focuses on building strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring product availability, and driving market‑share growth for the mobile telecommunications business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage and motivate the indirect sales team, fostering loyalty and performance.
• Maintain relationships with key and strategic accounts and supervise distribution channels.
• Prepare and review daily, weekly and monthly sales reports, including visit schedules and retailer validations.
• Develop and implement distribution strategies together with the Sales Unit Manager and Commercial Director.
• Negotiate and prepare dealer contracts and ensure market‑related programmes are executed.
• Audit distributors and dealers for compliance with pricing, image and service standards, taking corrective actions when needed.
• Control product availability and quality in retail outlets, distribute marketing materials and manage defective stock.
• Identify new business opportunities, conduct market surveys and monitor competitor activity.
• Collect complaints, provide structured reporting and communicate findings to relevant departments.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading and motivating a sales team in an indirect channel.
• Experience handling key and strategic accounts within the telecom sector.
• Strong ability to prepare, analyse and present periodic sales reports.
• Demonstrated competence in supervising distribution networks and conducting audits.
• Good knowledge of market conditions, competitor activity and product promotion.
