Laboratory Coordinator – Geotechnical Testing

About the role

The Laboratory Coordinator will lead on‑site laboratory activities, ensuring high‑quality execution of tests and optimal use of human and technical resources. This position drives continuous improvement, maintains equipment operability, and guarantees compliance with the ISO 17025:2005 quality management system.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily laboratory operations and supervise technical staff.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring readiness for testing.
• Organise technical files, test matrices, and test reports.
• Implement and monitor compliance with the Quality Management System (ISO 17025:2005).
• Analyse test results for concrete, soils, bituminous mixtures, aggregates, binders and hydraulics, providing actionable recommendations.
• Promote a results‑driven culture and continuous improvement in team performance.

Required profile

• 12th grade education or a Bachelor’s degree in Geological or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Technical training in civil construction and/or geotechnical laboratory work.
• At least 10 years of experience in similar laboratory coordination roles.
• Fluency in French.
• Willingness to travel as required.
